Security and Data Privacy

What is the confidentiality, security and data privacy of the data sent to Iris ?

Where is my Data going to ?

With the current version of Iris, data is stored on the Azure servers of Egis (in France). Therefore, this data remains the property of Egis, and Azure (Microsoft) does not have any rights over it. The data also passes through the Azure OpenAI API on Egis's Azure servers for predictions, summaries, extractions, etc and through the Azure ML servers for predictions, routing, parsing, etc... Neither Microsoft nor OpenAI (or Cohere) has access to these data, and they are especially not used for training their models.

Egis's Azure servers are the same ones that host data contained in Outlook or Sharepoint, so there is neither more nor less risk associated with this data.

The only data that should not go through Iris are those that do not have permission to be stored in the Cloud and thus cannot be transferred by email or placed on Sharepoint.
